About Us

Our interdisciplinary team of faculty and students worked to incorporate computational thinking and coding modules into courses in the MSTQE program. MSTQE (Math, Science, and Technology for Quality Education) is a Bridge program at Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) that serves education students from NEIU and Chicago City Colleges (CCC). MSTQE offers courses leading to a Math and Science Concepts Minor as well as an Elementary and Middle Level Endorsement in Mathematics and General Science. The goal of MSTQE is to prepare education students to effectively teach future K-8 students in math and science.
